Getting there
Kalorama sits on the high ground north of Dupont Circle in Northwest Washington, between Connecticut Avenue and Rock Creek Park. The Dupont Circle Metro station (Red Line) is the nearest stop, with Woodley Park and Adams Morgan a short walk away. Massachusetts Avenue — Embassy Row — runs through Sheridan-Kalorama at Sheridan Circle.
The setting
Kalorama is mostly residential — a quiet enclave of grand mansions, embassies, and tree-lined streets rather than a commercial strip. The nearest shops, cafés, and restaurants are along Connecticut Avenue, Columbia Road, and in adjacent Dupont Circle and Adams Morgan.
